For our offices in Frankfurt, Cologne or Wiesbaden we are looking for a
Head of Legal DACH (m/f/d)
The role
As Head of Legal for DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), you will be part of the European Legal Team, within WTW’s Office of the General Counsel (“OGC”). Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel for Northern Europe, your role will be to oversee the provision of all legal support to the various businesses with the DACH region, primarily Germany. The role is broad in nature, covering a stimulating and varied range of legal issues, contentious and non-contentious matters, and will include working with external Counsel and the other functional leads in the DACH region. You will have managerial responsibility for the other members of the German legal team (one lawyer and one junior lawyer).

The requirements
You would be a lawyer qualified in Germany, with strong academic qualifications and have at least 5 years’ experience, either in private practice or in-house (or both). A strong ability to communicate in English is important.
To succeed in this role, you need to be confident and self-starting, with a robust commercial approach and a commitment to finding solutions to challenging legal issues. Importantly, the role offers the opportunity to work more broadly within the European Legal Team.
The role would be based in Germany (preferably in Frankfurt) and includes the option of working flexibly from home a number of days per week.
